Alec has a career spanning 30 years, focused on building relationships and ensuring excellent client satisfaction. With a passion for innovation and education, Alec strives to create services and solutions to meet our client family’s needs while also creating new advancement opportunities for employees and caregivers.

Alec earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a BS in Economics and MIS from the University of Delaware. In his spare time, Alec enjoys hiking in the mountains with his 2 dogs and adding to his 60+ country world travel list.

Meet Ashley Cake, Director of Community Relations

Ashley serves as our Director of Community Relations, responsible for building strong partnerships with senior healthcare providers and community organizations throughout PG County and Southern Maryland. With extensive experience in senior care and healthcare outreach, Ashley is deeply committed to ensuring individuals and families receive timely, compassionate, and high-quality support as they navigate care transitions from hospital to home.

In this role, Ashley works closely with hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, physician practices, and social service agencies to educate partners on home care solutions that promote safety, independence, and continuity of care. A key part of her responsibilities includes visiting clients and families in hospitals to assess needs, provide guidance, and help coordinate a smooth transition from inpatient care to the home setting. These in-person visits allow Ashley to build trust, address concerns in real time, and ensure care plans are aligned with clinical recommendations and family goals.

Ebony serves as Director of Care Quality, overseeing clinical standards, service delivery, and continuous quality improvement across the organization. With a strong commitment to safety, dignity, and compassionate care, Ebony ensures that every client receives services that meet or exceed industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

In this role, Ebony is responsible for developing and monitoring care protocols, conducting quality assurance reviews, and supporting caregivers through training, supervision, and performance improvement. She works closely with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to address concerns proactively and to adapt care plans as client needs evolve.
