June is Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month

June 01, 2023

Throughout the month of June, the Alzheimer’s Association encourages people to support this awareness movement by wearing purple and training their brains to fight the Alzheimer's and other dementia diseases.  It is a time when people around the nation are having conversations about their own cognitive health and discussing cognitive well-being with family members, health care professionals, and friends.

  • About 30% of caregivers are age 65 or older.
