Options for Senior America Lake County branch provides in-home care to aging and disabled adults and seniors. We have specialized programs for dementia/Alzheimers supportive care program, a transitional care program designed to facilitate a smooth transition from facility back to the home setting, and a fall prevention program for those who have suffered fall related injuries or chronic falls.
Our care providers are CNA's, HHA's, and experienced companions with various levels of experience. These individuals all have been thoroughly vetted through national lifetime criminal background checks, drug screening, as well as written and physical skills assessments. These care providers also receive dementia training prior to being placed on any assignment - they provide reliable, skilled, and compassionate care above the line.
The Lake County branch is owned and managed by Bridgette Knight. Bridgette has been a Registered Nurse for 6 years. She has worked in multiple acute care settings such as Medical-Surgical, Acute Rehab, and Case Management. Bridgette conducts our needs assessments and creates a plan of care specific to each care recipient and their families' needs. Bridgette has a deep love for the elderly and is an advocate for those who can not speak for themselves.
Brenda Scott-Middlebrooks is the Care Coordinator of the Lake County Branch. Brenda has worked in management and care scheduling for over 10 years. She has also worked with the elderly in the long-term care, and acute care settings. She coordinates staff and care recipients based on experience level and personality. Brenda is passionate about providing exceptional care to our families that will exceed all expectations.
Though the majority of our patients require care to be provided in the comfort of their own home, Options For Senior America is equipped to provide care for your loved one even if they no longer live at home.
