Whether it is Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, M.S., Parkinson's, stroke, hospice care, or rehabilitation following a joint replacement or broken limb, we are ready to help.
We assist our care recipients with activities of daily living (ADLs). Most of our clients are senior adults, though we are generally available to any adult who might benefit from our services, regardless of age. Typical areas in which our caregivers provide assistance are:
Not every family needs us for all of the above tasks. After evaluating the care recipients precise needs, we help the family determine what services are best for their loved one.
TRANSITION CARE:
Options can help during transition period from hospital to home, from home to a community or any setting, on a short-term basis from overnight emergency care to few days. We understand that emergencies do come up no matter how much we plan in advance. We can also assist when extra help is needed during outpatient surgeries or medication changes. We will assist with doctor follow- up visits during this critical period to help avoid re-admission to the hospital.
What sets us apart? We are reliable, flexible, cost effective and patient centered! We are also one of only a hand full of Home Care agencies in the Region with a Reigistered Nurse as the Owner and Manager.
From the start, we know that we need to react quickly to client needs, and that circumstances frequently require a fast response. Today, we are able to respond within 24 hours or less. Families deal directly with the owner, Bridgette Knight, who is also a Registered Nurse. Bridgette will meet with the care recipient and family members for a free initial assessment. She will also visit regularly once the service has started to establish a strong rapport and communication with the care recipient and their family to ensure their needs are met. We also help families set up additional services such as home safety evaluations, doctor's appointments, home organization, etc. Our Care Providers go through a nation lifetime criminal background check, skills assessment, and personality assessments to ensure they match our client's needs. We are licensed, bonded, insured and carry workers' comp insurance.
